Finisar has two and a third plant in China under construction but I get your meaning.

A win to me would be getting China to drop the 51% partnership requirement to do business there plus drop the non-reciprocal tariffs on US goods.

I think we will ALWAYS have US IP leave the door if you build factories there and train their workers on how to build things using our secret sauce... the top workers leave to start their own competing companies and often take some of your best lower level workers with them. We saw that at HP building our stuff in Singapore. Most managers I tried to convince this was a problem didn't care as they were paid on annual, not decade results.
