I think you are to something but because i think now that bush will lose I think he should level with the american people on iraq--both good news and bad.
1. toppled fascist saddam
2. determined there are no wmds (JOB#1) and then blame saddam for forcing us to act by his macho desire not to admit he had no more wmds OR he(saddam) was given faulty info by his own scientists OR wmds were moved somewhere else and we still are looking.
3. And then set the target withdrawl dates for 2005 and attack the dems for asking for more troops. Say it would be the same as when LBJ made his greatest mistake of raising the troop limits to 500k in the 60s. INVOKE the giant dem vietnam mistake as a talking point. Say kerry hasnt learned the lesson of vietnam but the republicans did. Macho aint important its effectiveness and realism.

Or announce to the terrorists that we will bomb them back into the stone age if they dont surrender.
