Ross Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROSS), a leading provider of business software solutions, announced today a new agreement in the food and beverage sector. Delicious Alternative Desserts Ltd., with its manufacturing facilities in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada, licensed Ross' Renaissance CS(R) Enterprise Resource Planning and Supply Chain Management System. The business of Delicious Alternative Desserts Ltd. is the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of ice cream and other frozen dessert products throughout Canada. The Corporation is rapidly expanding its business through national brand licensing for Canadian markets, having recently acquired the exclusive rights to manufacture, market and distribute certain Ben & Jerry's ice cream products, the rights to manufacture, market and distribute Cadbury branded ice cream products, the distribution rights for the Weight Watchers(TM) ice cream product line and the manufacturing and distribution rights for Mr. Cookie Face of New Jersey, USA.
