OK, let's review the review the 5 stocks from the portfolio: JDX/tse: Bought it because of strong cash position and the people involved. These two things are still present, I will keep it. Move hasn't happened yet. KWE/ase: Bought it because of strong cash position and the people involved. Cash is being spend on great acquisitions. The stock indicates that the market likes how the cash is being spent. Broke through a dollar for the third time yesterday. I expect the next move to be the real one. I will keep it. MPZ/ase: Bought it for technical reasons. Initial move to $1.78 with current pull back to $1.15. The story is getting better but hasn't been told yet. I will keep it. RAN/vse: Bought it on expectations of drilling starting in Southern Ontario. They haven't started to drill. Stock hasn't moved yet. I will keep it. BND/ase: Bought it on expectation that the negotiations announced last week will lead to a deal. Stock hasn't moved yet. I will hold. techstocks.com Comment to the thread: "To make money on small cap stocks you can't try to pick the low and sell at the high within a few days, or you can't try to just clip a small percentage of the move. You have to buy the right stocks for the right reasons, sit on them until they have their move and sell them when the liquidity picks up. "Short term" in the investment business is not counted in days but in months. I do recognize that other people are successful at making money in small cap stocks with different techniques. But this is the only one I know and the only one that has ever worked for me."
