Jeff,
I think you are right about the momentum players. Many of
the moves in the stock seem wholely unrelated to any news or
other activity. The tax gains are a problem. I have 1012 shares
with a cost-adjusted basis of $9.20, 1,500 shares at $23.25, and
500 shares at $27.75. If it does run above 40 like it has the
past two years, selling at the top in anticipation of a large pull-back would generate some hefty taxes. I have a lot of it
on margin, too, so I do watch it nervously!
