Camelot Clarifies News Release

DALLAS, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Camelot Corporation (Nasdaq:CAML) announces that at
the request of Nasdaq it is clarifying the announcement of VideoTalk negotiations made
September 24, 1997. The Company, through its indirect subsidiary, DigiPhone International Ltd.
(''DigiPhone'') is in the early stages of demonstrating its VideoTalk technology to a number of
the world's largest PC manufacturers (also described as Original Equipment Manufacturers). A
series of one-to-one demonstrations with PC manufacturers has commenced and will continue
over the next two months. If these demonstrations are successful, the Company is hopeful that it
will enter negotiations to license VideoTalk technology to manufacturers for inclusion in their
1998 platforms. There can be no assurance that any negotiations will result in licensing
agreements. The Company does not anticipate the conclusion of any licensing agreement until
at least early 1998.

Whether or not any licensing agreements will ultimately be reached will be dependent upon
many factors, including manufacturers' evaluations of the Company's technology, their
assessment of the merits of competing technology, and the outcome of any negotiations that
may take place following such evaluations.
