re Acclaim and the console/PC gaming stocks

I follow ATVI only but a quick glance and it
sure looks like Acclaim is very tradable,
but what a nightmare to try and keep track of
the sector--just a huge glut of games out there
hardly any chance to play more than a few, and
I for one don't follow the consoles so I don't
actually do any trades with these anymore.
There has to be some consolidation in the industry,
I want to see one of these companies hook up with
a cable internet provider and start doing some
things with multiplayer. I've played a couple games
online and it was not a fufilling experience to say
the least...latency and difficult to find opponents
of same level.

I've also noted that in sector funds such as the
Fidelity Leisure or the Multimedia fund there is
hardly any of the gaming stocks in there, and when
you do find one it is always erts. Not a lot of
support for these, for what that is worth. Oh, I
guess I lost a little money on MPRS too, that sure
soured me on the sector. I think you want to find
the type of story stocks that will get traders like
the folks on this thread enthusiastic, the gaming
companies are a little boring (when was the last
time you saw an interesting RPG...and simulations,
geeze, boring. I even lost interst in the puzzle
games like Zork, corny and lame).
