Well, you're going to bring me (moderator) into it, are you? lol. If you believe you're being harassed, then, yes, of course put the person on ignore. You have many people here who apparently follow your picks. They would not like to see you leave (again). Also, Lazarus, has lots of followers here too, and we don't want to lose him either.
---- As you and everyone else here sees, this subject thread is otherwise pretty quiet -- just a very few posts from people who're buying stocks mentioning the stocks they are buying. Since there's not much for readers to view (few new stocks being mentioned), I decided to just keep the conversations we are having to continue. Maybe it is time to move on though. The thread has an unwritten rule that in any given short time period, we only want about 20 comments about a particular stock. The reason for that is that we assume that a large majority of us are here primarily to find value stocks to buy or evaluate. The further assumption is that within the back-and-forth, pro-and-con of about 20 posts, people ought to be at least be able to determine if a particular stock is of interest to them (for their further investigation) or not. After 20 posts, in past I have asked that a separate subject matter thread be created where people can go and discuss both the in-depth stuff and post the routine stuff on that particular stock that interests them -- such as "omg, the stock went up 10% today", "the cfo just bought 50k shares", "quarterly earnings are out today", "there's $5M in real estate sales according to the 10k", etc.
I understand that many people here have concentrated portfolios, and so they are vitally interested in the progress of their holding(s). Still, we have maybe a dozen active participants and many readers here (people with interest in many, many stocks), so maybe rather than have this thread dominated now by a running commentary on a particular stock and a microcap at that (TCPI), the rest of us might benefit if TCPI holders/followers and adversaries kept away from posting on TCPI here (and on other stocks where there's no material news to affect whether new buyers might be interested in re-looking at the company, or older holders to sell positions).
Could somebody start a TCPI thread where pro/con or in-depth review of TCPI could be followed? Or take it to another thread (microcap thread?). Let's try to take it off this thread for a while. |
