OT: I'm short 2000 shares of AMAT myself so that makes it at least 36,000 shares. I'm convinced that this is less than a drop in the bucket compared to the institutional buying that has been taking place.

Long or short those who post on this thread have become increasingly more likely to make a profit in their short term trading.

I know I have been very impressed by your ability to buy a stock when it reaches a short term bottom. But there are others who are doing very well trading from the long side as well.

Tomorrow night when INTC holds its update I will be very interested to see how the market reacts. I believe the large number of people shorting AMAT here collectively suggests that the stock should be at a top.

However despite the new high set today the stock has not reached an RSI of 70. It is only 65 now so it could go higher still:

I hope to weather the storm if it does and exit later on a pullback.
