Mo this election is essentially a referendum about bush. Americans indys are shopping. Most of the time shoppers buy if the product (kerry) is accceptable. Remember Reagan Carter? It was dead even until about a week ago when the swing voters went for reagan at a 70%+ rate. Bush is damaged but not as badly as carter and kerry is acceptable but not quite as much as reagan was--remember reagan was scary back then. Mike
