d e - < chipzilla's huge profitability still relies on corporate suckers covering their on-the-line arses and paying humongous prices for "Intel Inside" with minuscule (and increasingly less significant) performance differentials. >

I am always fascinated that AMD'ers fail to grasp intricacies the market they are basing their hopes on with the K7. Are you anticipating the K7 competing with the PIII, or the Celeron? Do you anticipate the K7 bringing AMD back to profitability? Will corporate buyers be suckers for buying the K7 at the same price they can by a PIII at the same speed grade? I performance differentials are insignificant, why isn't the K6x or Cyrix parts banging it up in the Corporate space? I would not be calling the customers in the market you wish to enter "suckers".
