Lifeis, you aren't wrong at all, and in normal circumstances I would agree completely with you. (I have a position with another stock that has some of the pre-hostile characteristics of VLSI right now) The difference is - the circumstance we are in is NOT normal. (I don't think I accused you of being short, did I? If so, my very humble apologies) I wish I had been as gutsy as you and bought at 7.5. Didn't start accumulating my leaps until it reached 9; and even at that, was too timid and paid much more than I should have. Then, I didn't buy 17.5s when they were cheap. (Your gain from 17.5 to 18+ is much greater than my gain in my LEAPS....) Perfect hindsight - very imperfect foresight.

And yes, I also noticed - more on the yahoo thread than here, btw, comments about how VLSI was worth (Insert silly number here. $35 is a common number....) - sometimes based on - nothing at all. sometimes on some kind of forward looking kind of thing. Sniffing Silly Powder....
