And the thousands of computer techs stuck at their desks Friday night and doublechecking every single system over the weekend won't have any appreciable effect at all on what happens Monday morning. Of course not. It's all just an existential illusion. The LAN manager for my office didn't just call me to talk about bringing up our network and checking it out. Just my imagination.
