It's a bit off topic for this thread but the task of resurrecting folk that, for very bad reasons, never got the credit they deserve is a deserving one. I think it is right on topic, John. As this article points out without directly saying it, King would have never become "King" without him. I saw an excellent documentary on him that covered the same ground on PBS recently. The Washington gathering this weekend was reported by the "Times" to be only a couple of thousand. A picture published by the "Times" on their web site summed up what has gone wrong. It showed Al Sharpton whispering into Coretta King's ear on the platform in DC. I just shook my head at the image.
