Hello Vinod, Good to have you back, NetWare has the fastest file retrieval algoritms around and as such has blinding speed through the disk channel. Even MS b.b.s. (bill butt suckers) admit to this, for this reason IntranetWare makes an excellent platform to run a Web server on. The prime directive (sorry for S.Trek ref) of a Web server is to retrieve files as fast as it can. Any Wav or Gif files associated are also retrieved and executed locally (bet you have 17" Mon & sound card) But you already know this.. So we hear people say "Novell good for File & Print but no good for APPS" then "Novell can't run a Web server cos it's no good at APPS" No wonder Some in the Market place are confused !!! To clear up any confusion NetWare comes with same license user # as IntranetWare, Netware is part of IntranetWare:- you buy 1000 user IntranetWare you get v4.11 license disk for 1000 users. You still run SERVER.EXE, IntranetWare is the New name for a product that is v4.11 + a stack of Web tools. ADE
