Hi RtS, I agree that the TA points down and down hard. I was looking at a number of the public lists on StockCharts last night. Index after index and stock after stock were all pointing to much lower levels. I still believe in my 6500 target for the DOW which is another 20% lower. The trend is strong and I believe in the old adage, the trend is your friend. Overall sentiment is too negative, combined with the constant calls that the bottom is near. At least we are seeing more press telling people not to buy the market but I don't think the bulls have tossed in the towel just yet. An external catalyst could cause a change but I fail to see what's out there that could create a substantial change in the sentiment level.
