Remember this NYT article counterattacking the Swiftboat Vets? She says: the ads were funded by "Bob J. Perry, a Houston developer who is a major contributor to Republican campaigns."

Well, guess what. No sign in opensecrets.org so far of the 527 that Bob Perry is supposed to have funded...certainly NOT on the Top 20 527's...most of which are for Democrats! I find that Bob Perry and his wife Doyleen of Huston gave money in the 2002 election in $2000 and $5000 amounts....and once $20,000 to GWBush campaign.....

Let's see if the NYT can come up with something more than the 12,600,000 that George Soros has so far donated to the moveon.org and related 527's that are continually attacking Bush, etc......... Don't think that Perry can even come a teeeeennny tinnnnny bit close to anything near the amount of at least 1/12 of what Soros has come up with.
