In addition to being stunned, as were we all, people like Kerry forget that Air Force One wasn't parked outside the school....NO ONE knew for some time that the US wasn't under an even greater attack....The plane that eventually went down in PA was evidently headed for the WH or the Capitol.... Those 7 minutes were indeed a very short time, considering the magnitude of what was happening...President Bush showed leadership that day, and did not flee or leave the scene until the Secret Service and President Bush could determine what to do... (why did the Swiftboat story just flit into my mind then, I wonder...?)
