Yes, it's a rather mixed lot, to be sure. There are the beginners, with questions such as, "I'm new to Metastock. Does anyone have a good scan for divergences? I like to trade divergences." Or: "I'm looking for a short, simple scan to find cups and handles, or just handles. Can anyone help me?" And there are those who love nothing more than to LAUNCH INTO TIRESOME TIRADES AGAINST ALL THE FOOLS IN THE GROUP, ALL IN CAPS!!!!! Why do nutcases always immediately betray themselves with the caps lock key? And there's the smoking-jacket set, who regale the others with info such as, "Well, my 49-room home cost $1,800,000, but now that they've removed the trailer park, it's worth three times that." Occasionally an unassuming sort comes along with a good indicator or two, or some helpful advice about trading.
