I've recently started using a real time ticker from Bullsession.com.

For Macs, you seem to need to use IE4 or higher; I've been using the new IE4.5 for Mac to run the real time ticker while I'm keeping up with other news and SI posts running simultaneously on Navigator 4.5. Actually, I turn the ticker tape window off and use a window that continuously displays all my stocks' quotes, hi, lo, bid, ask, and other useful data.

I'm using a G3 PB/64Meg running OS8.1.
