Have not been able to persuade Ira Einhorn to return to Philadelphia for trial. Why should he so long as protected by the French Courts. In the meantime, a Federal Judge named Ron Whyte who also happens to be a significant tennis player, just altered the history of computing by issuing a temp. restraining order against MSFT's version of the java technology. People are just waking up to the significance of this although the pros have been watching all along. Wednesday night on PBS is a not to be missed program entitled "Nerds 201" or something like that. I think this will take up where "Triumph of the Nerds" left off.
I'll be back at the trading desk on Monday AM and just in time to start making some money in ASPT, now that the tombstone has been removed. Hope there isn't an avalanche of orders before the market opens which force the market makers to sell their 18 1/2 positions and short on the opening. I don't think there will be one, but any pullback into the high 17s would deserve to be bought. Stock should hit 20 before Thanksgiving for sure. I may be wrong but the only sellers left out there should be profit takers from lower levels like me, most of them see the stock as way undervalued even at this level. Looks like we are going to get to Edward Jackson's one year target a bit quicker than he thought. That's why I have been needling him to revise upward. It's almost too late. Wonder if anyone else will upgrade next week? Hang in there.
