From the "Profile" section on SI: Based on ASND closing price of $71.4375 on 01/08/99 [...] Market Capitalization $14.90 billion If the market cap is 14.9 billion and the price is 71.4375, that makes 208,573,928.259 shares. So $16 billion divided by the number of shares is $76.71 per share. Who knows whether these data are correct or whether I'm using the right analysis, but that's a suck-ass price for those of us who bought recently.
