Ted, looks like you completely missed the point of the article:

Alex has given you all you're new talking point.....its the skillset that makes the difference. And of course, you will soak up the koolaid like its the nectar of the gods.

And that's for better or for worse. For example, take a look at how LeBron James has been overmarketed. A one-hour special on ESPN just to announce his change in teams.
