Jim regards to Mobil the return includes dividends.

as of 6/30/96 2.3%
As of 6/30 1 yr 21.10%
3 yr 19.10%
5 yr 16.70%
10 YR 18.30%

Worth Mag. (Peter Lynch) This month his tip is international oils and domestic. Mobil is estimated to be at $127 by one of his contacts. If you follow the other analysts they were projecting $132. on average ( some time ago don't know about current projections). Most of the performance (lack of it) has been due to the analysts fear of the ceo (NOTO) who has been moving very fast on investments. The company downsized about 5000 employees and has a tie with BP in Europe to exchange business. BP will take the gasoline etc. and Mobil will take the lubricants. There was also a rumor in London off a merger of the two companies and denied by Mobil. Mobil has become very aggresive under Lou Noto. I hope this helps. John

Ps I did work for them till last year and find them to be a take charge corp. I believe Money mag. may also have an article on them.
