Yes, they were violent, but that was even before we lived in Ottawa way back in 1975 [showing how old I am]. <Maybe you didn't hear of the FLQ.

Now it's just a matter of a vote. China had their civil war too. Now, time has moved on and there's no need for such nonsense. Even the hideous IRA and Gerry Adams have eased off on the worst of their horrors.
