Interesting international controversy that refreshingly does not involve the USA.

Prediction: Crux of Pope Benedict's reinstatement of the excommunicated bishop is to lay the groundwork for exonerating Pope Pius XII, who no doubt is wrongly accused of remaining silent and therefore condoning the gassing of 10M Jews by the Nazis. Apparently the pope is aware there's evidence to prove the numbers were no where near 10M. If it was truly in the hundred thousands, the Nazi's secretive slaughter could easily have flown under Pius XII's radar during WWII. Unfortunately, it's the wrong time to open this can of worms - just gives insane anti-semites, like Ahmadinejad, cover for their self-serving complete denial of the holocaust.
