stan, it's a well known fact...

that I'm no John Nash.
And a lot of what many FA people consider 'basic' still
twists my brain cells into tight little balls of jello...
but companies on the nas appear to me to be in deep doo-doo.
Following the Enron failure, I said that the accounting thing
wasn't going to go away. It not only hasn't gone away, it's
lead to more drastic SEC measures being examined.
Now, just the thought of the large caps having to
disclose and place on the books as expenses
their options arrangements could have a horrific effect
on their balance sheets... to the tune of billions...
and that's not even considering how corporations
are issuing secondaries - selling issues to stay afloat.

But, as I said, this is all beyond my scope.
