Edwarda, I lurked on this thread for a long time before I began to post here. I find the attitude of some posters very patronizing, almost patricianly proprietary at times. My friends prevailed on me until recently to refrain from posting here. As a friend recently pointed out and as I have observed myself, too many people have rationalized the bad behavior of certain posters like X and nihil, and then selectively complained when someone such as Zoltan or myself comes on the thread. Not only that, but any amount of belligerence, passive/aggressive behavior, cheap shots and overbearingness seem to be "okay", as long as one doesn't directly call a name, which is pretty hokey. I find it somewhat amusing and VERY hypocritical. People may send all the vile terms in my direction they please. I won't complain but I may respond in kind. But, since my favorite hobby is engaging in what I call "puncturing gas bags" the urge to post here eventually became over powering. I plead the defense of the irresistible impulse! Stop me before I post again! JLA
