Even if it were true, it would likely just mean that most of the people who make over $250K make just over $250K. And in which case, those people wouldn't be significantly effected. Remember, those tax rates are marginal. So people who made $260K in a year after Obama raised that bracket by 3% would have to pay an extra $300. Big deal. I think the more important question is why do the conservatives on this thread worry so much about the tax rates for the rich? I doubt very many of them [if any] make over $250K.
