Rick,

If you use IE4, it's a no-brainer. It will open much faster under win98. Also the FAT32 file system is a much more efficient way for a hard drive to store files (but it sure takes defrag longer to run).

There is a function on win98 called the System Info that helps you adjust many settings you couldn't touch on win95, including all those little programs that start up each time you boot and rob your RAM.

Also you need it for multiple monitor setups.
