to all: for what its worth..my view...im a market maker in novell options..what im seeing is a larger then usual open interest in the options..in the last few months the jan 12 1/2. calls..the feb 15 calls ..the may 7 1/2 calls and the may 10 calls have been accumulated and as best as i can tell are still being held..check out the action just this last monday in the may 10 calls..also option volatility has remained high even after earnings came out (which were basically a non event)..i think all this adds up to bullish sentiment around the street concerning novells future..either as a stand alone company or as atakeover..personally with the a)an earnings date change, b)a shrinking board of directors and c)this poison pill filing im inclined to believe the later..again..just my opinion..
