They definitely will be sued for not halting the stock. This is a no brainer. They let it trade so their friends the funds could get out. CTQ and DMM halted their shares albeit a bit late but at least they did the right thing. ARU might get sued for 100 million dollars. Between Barron quitting and directors selling and Anderson selling they had to have known something was going to go wrong so they bailed out but left J6P holding the bag imo.

The meeting of the national assembly was sure to be material news and so they had every justification for halting the stock, maybe even for 6 months. If ARU is told to stop activity on their property for 6 months then there is no logical reason for their shares to trade until things return exactly to normal after the 6 month period.
