I've always wondered why a bank would give 300-400K loans to people they KNEW couldn't pay for them... Getting a mortgage used to be a rigorous process requiring income certification and assets... It appears to me that the bankers saw a pretty good deal in selling the mortgages to people who would probably default but in the meantime they got pure interest and since the housing market was going crazily upward they figured a repossession would be easy sale and large profit....they never counted on the housing crash..

But Obama never said what you said he did....you admit that?
