"A Beautiful Day Near Dulles Airport- Author MJ" After almost two months of subnormal temperatures in the Washington D.C. area Washingtonians and the Virginians across the river reveled in a beautiful day. Near Dulles, birds were eyeing trees to build nests and do what birds do and children played out of doors. This is in contrast to the previous month of temperatures approaching zero as recent as this past week often with freezing rain and bouts of snow. It was reported that a record high was recorded at Dulles Airport for this given day by Marylandweather.com and as posted by one poster with the initials KP. No further information was given by the source as to how this information was derived and for how many years the weather has been measured at Dulles Airport. It was noted by locals that the followers of Al Gore, took this single measurement as an indication that the earth is getting hotter and could burn up by the end of President Obama's four years if Obama and Pelosi don't pass the stimulus bill. Enjoy this day, as we know the groundhog saw its shadow in early February predicting six more weeks of winter. mj
