This past month, my brother and I bought a house to repair and flip, hopefully in short order.
After having spent the day working on the house, I was heading back home. My kids were in the van with me, but they were all quiet, and I felt a desire to pray about the person who will buy the house. I prayed that the Lord would be readying the person, couple or family that would move into the house. Basically I just spent some time driving down the road talking to God about re-selling the house.
After I had prayed, I was a few miles down the road, about five minutes later and my cell phone rang. It was my brother. He wanted to tell me about a buddy of his that he ran into, who is looking to buy a house. Joe shared with him the details about the house we are restoring. The guy wants to look at the house when we have it finished, and before we would list it with a realtor. The guy told my brother that the house sounds perfect for what he is looking for.
I don't know that this is the man that will buy the house, but I do know that the conversation about the house, was the Lord's timing, as was my sudden desire/urge to pray about who will be buying the house.
