LYON PROJECT DUE DILIGENCE PROGRAM CONFIRMS GOLD
PRESENCE IN HIGH-GRADE COPPER MINERALIZATION

VANCOUVER, B.C. (June 15, 1998) - Mr. Steven E. Parry Chairman and
C.E.O. and Mr. Robert B. Blakestad, President and C.O.O. of
International Taurus Resources Inc. are pleased to announce results of
the recent evaluation of gold grades associated with the Lyon
high-grade copper-gold-magnetite project in Nevada.

As previously reported, many of the 44 drill holes within the high
grade resource were never assayed for gold by former project operators.
International Taurus has expanded the gold database with an additional
10 holes through a due diligence assaying program conducted earlier
this month. The objective of this program was to confirm the .015 ounce
per ton gold credit used in the positive economic study of the project.

Work included reassaying of existing pulps where available. Existing
core was quartered where no sample pulps were available. All samples
were analyzed according to industry accepted fire assay procedures at
Bondar Clegg Laboratories in North Vancouver B.C.

Results for the prior holes and the new sampling are tabulated below by
zone:

Mr. Blakestad commented "The results of the gold review demonstrate
that a significant gold credit will be present in the known deposits.
We are particularly encouraged by the elevated grades in the E-2 and
Northwest deposits."

A similar check program is underway regarding copper grades on the
project. Studies on the open pit, bulk mineable deposits, conducted by
former operators, note a possible7% understatement of copper grades in
the earlier drill programs. Key drill holes will be checked during the
summer program to determine if this effect pertains to the high grade
zones as well.

The Company also reported that Mr. Noori Lalani has joined the Board of
Directors and that Mr. Bruce Spencer has tendered his resignation as a
Director of the company.
