Manish, The rumor is that there will be an addition "chip" which will plug into the computer to enable the MMX functions. I'm not a tech type, pardon my generlization. The idea is that this would help the OEM's in the transition to MMX after 1/1/97, and came primarily from John Divorak (sp?), PC Mag. John
