most gold and silver stocks are up between 3-10 times over the last year...it should be expected that on days like today they gap up and suckers get slapped for buying them. I expect to see some major downside on the golds at some point in the future. we will have big time back filling over the next couple years...only question is will stocks like hgmcy run to $25 then fall back to $15...or will they fall back at $15-18 to $10... I booked a little profit on some of my golds in the last 24 hours...kgc, bgo and a little hgmcy. I am converting profits into physical silver at these prices for the long term. I plan to have 50 1000 oz silver bars for safe keeping. I should be able to complete my collection by 2003..that is my goal. I will still maintain core gold and silver stocks long for the next 5 years. but, I want to funnel out all the money i orginally put into the gold and silver stocks and place that into physical silver...I don't plan on selling my silver for 30 years or so...and likely it will be my grandkids that get to sell them...or trade in bars for homes. I figure historically 10-15 1000 oz silver bars = a good house. some time in the next 30 years..that relationship will likely return. csco has crossed hgmcy agian...damn it! we will have to wait for the close to see if holds today. victor...in all honesty...do you plan to ever get any physical silver or gold and silver stocks? bambs
