Mark Farner of Grand Funk:
got me thinking I do have one Grand Funk vinyl-- all scratched up from party abuse--
Paranoid-- the red one and I goes to his site and a great find-- he has 2 cuts from that one-- and I really liked
(but forgotton)(and didnt know the name) Winter and my Soul--
cool and recorded it with TR-- got more songs over there to listen to-
markfarner.com

that particular album was given to me from my cousin Jimmy who also gave me two Cactus albums and Bloodrock III-- still got them but dont know the condition... Jimmy died the next summer overdosing on reds and liquor at his mom front doorstep--
he served two tours in Vietnam-- died from partying with a friend who lost an eye from a peace march got awry and got a big setlement.....
funny the twists and turns on this planet....

and some of the newer Farner is blues--
I have Robin Trower and Pat Travers Cds of blues by each of them-- in fact Travers version of ZZTop's Just Got Paid is killer-- got it and several more cuts on a blues rock road thing i made awhile back--
starts out with Manassas Jet Set and where it went into the next song I put Kings Highway (Kenny Wayne Sheppard) faded and mixed sweetly,
then Extermination Blues by Robin Trower
True Lies by Kenny again
Shining Through by Robin Trower (good good slow blues)
Mattie May by John Hammond
Snake Mountain Blues done by TVZ (Townes Van Zandt)
'Sitting on Top of the World', 'Built for Comfort',
'Just got Paid' and 'Mystery Train' all doneby Pat Travers
'Blue on Black' - KWS (Kenny Wayne)
'Crows'- Ray Wylie Hubbard
'Who do Love' covered wonderfully by John hammond and last another John Hammond and John Lee Hooker collaboration-
'Drifting blues'

I'd say bye bye bye bye ba ba baby-good bye good bye
