Roy, Gallium Arsenide has always marched to a different drummer than silicon chips. That is because they are so valuable in skunk works electronic defense products. However, their cycle depends more on defense spending and substitution for commercial apps. Just when a shortage develops commercially, some mfr. seems to find a way to do the same thing with a cheaper chip. And if BW has seen their potential, that is a bad sign. However, I do like the area longer term. Electronic snooping, which I once did for a living when I was in the Army, will become more important as the US is the only superpower and the only way for our enemies to take us on is through sneakiness and terrorism.
