What is the Fed going to do? - This seems to be the hot topic right now, coupled with the Iraq affair.

The Iraq affair has been put on the back burner and now the rate topic comes to the forefront (sp?).

The Fed, IMO, will continue what they started. They have a plan in mind and won't risk the "wait and see" attitude. It still seems to be 50/50 on whether or not they will cut. I believe they will.

I don't think we will get a huge correction if the Fed chooses to pass on this meeting without cutting. The sideways movement we saw last week played heavily in the uncertainty about the next FOMC meeting. Many are saying that a rate cut has already been factored into this market, and while I partly agree with that, I believe that is not entirely the case.

Either way, we will find out soon enough. If the rate cut happens, I expect to blast through 9000 with relative ease, to perhaps 9200-9300 by the end of the week. Call me nuts......

GOod luck to all.
