I didn't say "easy." I said "efficient." It is much more efficient to change the salaries of a few thousand rich people than millions and millions of workers. And you get more bang for the buck from the rich. That's why people want to raise taxes on the rich. That's where the money is. Working from the bottom end at a dollar an hour here and forty cents there is like pushing the rock up a hill. While you're doing that, executive income has gone up by tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars.

You can't make much progress on the income gap working from the bottom. It's not cost effective to approach it that way.

And meanwhile you are raising the prices that your now slightly richer union employees have to pay. That's progress?
