U.S. GAAP - reporting in US$

I'm sure they used future contracts to hedge the value of
their domestic sales.

Exporters like NN and NT benefit from the fall of C$.
The lower the better.

Yes, it is one estimate.

Low FX rate has a positive impact on the income statement as Revenues are reported in C$. If you sell C$200 in Canada and US$800
abroad, you do the math.
