Make up my own mind about what? Which side is true? Um, yes. The implication in this statement is that, if you believe the Swiftvets, then you cannot possibly vote for Kerry. Sure you can. I bet lots of people will be holding their noses when they vote in this election, regardless of which candidate they vote for. But the relevance and importance of the SwiftVets info will vary by individual. There will not be a consensus on this issue.
