Well if you consider taking a company with 100 employees and a few million in revenue to a 3+ billion dollar company not good for SGI then I guess you are correct. I dont consider that bad performance, especially considering AAPL's record of plumeting sales vs SGI's increasing sales (save 1 quarter of minor decrease). Anyone could do better at AAPL than what they have had in the past decade. I agree that there is probably not much validity to this rumor but I dont think they will find anyone better.
