If there's no match on ISLD or other ECN and if the MM(s) have just filled a SOES order they have 17 seconds to make you hold your breath before they decide if they want to fill you or change the quote. If you are 4th or 5th in the SOES queue then you'll just sit there cursing Datek or MB or Cyber or whoever. Trying Snet won't necessairly help because Snet fills are voluntary. Bottom line is that many times slow fills that are blamed on the broker are just the tough facts of life.
