Didn't it require witnesses to support the documentation that was submitted for his award????

Rassman, the SF guy who got pulled out of the drink, made out the paperwork and forwarded it. There was no other supporting paperwork. The CO took his word for it. None of the other people who witnessed the incident knew about the medal award at the time. This is all sworn testimony in the book. Either 60 Swift Boat veterans are all lying, or Kerry is a total fraud.

BTW, the eight men who are supporting Kerry who may have witnessed any of this have not denied any of these specific incidents. They were no more aware of what awards were being forwarded than the others. The transfers in and out of these boats was almost on a weekly basis. Most of the eight never served more than two weeks with Kerry.
