You're nuts. Medicare has wrecked our health care system and is ~100 Trillion underfunded. Social Security is collapsing and will do so if it isn't privatized. The military functions but only at massively bloated cost to the taxpayer. Our TSA is shaking down children before they get on planes. Our internal revenue service is FEARED by its patrons. We recently wasted a trillion dollars on "stimulus" and have NOT ONE THING to show for it.

Our Congress, last year, violated its OWN rules to pass legislation the voters overwhelmingly DO NOT WANT. And the ONE well-functioning program addressed by that legislation (Part D) was destroyed by it. IN response to a giant oil spill, our government chokes, attacks the very corporation which is charged with the cleanup (and was doing an excellent job), and contributes NOT ONE THING to the effort.

We are paying people NOT to work for years on end. We can't control our own borders. We are sitting on enough natural gas to power our country for decades, yet we have an incoherent energy policy that has us totally reliant on foreign oil with (while natural gas sits at $4, the equivalent of $1/gallon gasoline).

And, of course, our government is trillions of dollars in debt under the weight of unsustainable social programs that pass the burden on to our children, a morally bankrupt action if ever there was one.

The list could go on forever. Why don't you tell us about some of the GOOD things government has done?
