Bob;

Did you feel glee when Enron was forced into bankruptcy

You are not even close to understanding what my argument is. I accept fault for being unable to communicate better. Let me try again.

To the extent that Enron was crooked and to the extent that Enron caused incredible misery to their employees and to the extent that Enron caused misery to the people of California and elsewhere because they were unlawfully manipulating the energy markets - yes I was glad the dishonest portion of Enron was shut down and the dishonest went to jail. Was I sorry that people lost their job - of course.

My belief Bob is that for every job lost in the dirty production of energy, there will be a job gained in the clean production of energy. None of my comments are against big business as a whole - only those portions of big business that are dishonest and/or cause hardship for the American people.

To infer people pollute at will shows a lack of understanding of the regulation process in the US.

I never said people pollute at will - but every single producer does pollute to a greater or lessor extent. My argument is to favor those that pollute less and penalize those who pollute more. That's not antibusiness- it's just rewarding those who should be rewarded. You have a problem with that?
