CN is recovering from the stone and the 'blaster' pulverized the stone. His main focus now is to pay for the procedure which cost 30 thou. He had no insurance and when you go into a hospital without insurance they will charge you the highest rates for medical care. Another plus of our health care system.

Of course most hospitals will negotiate the rate downward if you are willing to pay in full. However if your intention is to pay them $50.00 a month until the account is paid in full then they just wait until you die and attach your estate. I have seen this happen in my brother in laws' death. My sister is still trying to sort out the mess.

The most incredulous thought is that one kidney stone cost 30 thousand. What is wrong with our health care system.
